BACKGROUND TO THE ROLE
The German media company wants to become the AI front-runner in the media industry and drive the disruption of an entire industry together with you. In the midst of many ideas and plans, they look for someone who owns this topic, designs an AI strategy for the company, identifies and prioritizes the most relevant use cases, and implements it with the stakeholders. You continuously keep an eye on innovations and developments. You are able to recognize the added value for the company but also keep an eye on legal aspects that could become relevant.
COMPANY PRESENTATION
The German media company is a leading independent media company that produces cinematographic films, series, TV shows, and entertainment formats as well as fictional and non-fictional content for social media. It releases its content itself in cinemas, distributes it in home entertainment, or streams it on its own SVOD channels. In addition, it licenses its content to program providers of all kinds, primarily in German-speaking Europe, but also internationally.

Home office is possible but especially in the beginning presence on site is very important

Fluency in German and English (but you do not have to be a native speaker)

You will define the AI strategy for the whole company and implement it based on concrete use cases
YOU BRING

a degree, ideally with a technical, digital, or business focus

several years of experience in the field of artificial intelligence or a strong affinity/passion for the topic

initial successes in implementing AI strategies and AI/digital transformation projects

knowledge of current trends and developments in the field of artificial intelligence

ability to communicate complex technical concepts in a management-understandable way

high level of innovative spirit, analytical thinking, and problem-solving
